Jon Lee, recently-retired, renowned local volleyball coach, has created a new beach volleyball clinic targeting high school-aged male and female players with advanced skills. Jon Lee, along with guest AVP level players, keeps the focus of this clinic on tournament level doubles and competition strategy, skills and training. Daily competitions and match play games with Coach Lee providing evaluation and feedback. Limited to 16 participants with advanced beach volleyball skills.

Looking for a summer of water fun? Aquacamp is filled with exciting adventures including water safety instruction, tide pool and marine life discovery, water games, boogie boarding, fishing and arts and crafts. Five 2-week sessions, Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm.

Learn basic and advanced techniques of soccer and compete in an age-appropriate "world cup" tournament. Dribbling, passing, receiving and shooting are presented to 8 year old and younger players; advanced dribbling moves, tactical team aspects (i.e. possession, combination play), and attacking the goal as a unit are taught to players 9 years and above. Each child will receive a soccer ball and summer camp T-shirt in both camps.

Have fun and learn more about baseball with the best college players in the country . . . the Santa Barbara Foresters! The Foresters are two-time national champions and six-time state champs, so they sure know their baseball! The players and coaches are with the campers at all times, passing on baseball knowledge and ensuring a fun, positive atmosphere.

This workshop is designed for kids who like to dress up and put on performances! The kids will be creating their own "fairytale" made up from the imagination of the collective group. Creative Movement and music will be incorporated into the piece. Kids will be creating costumes and props! A showcase of their work will be featured on the final Friday of the workshop.
This "Anatomy" Science Camp will focus on the inner workings of the human body. Have you ever wondered exactly what happens to your food after you swallow it? We will be conducting experiments to find out how and why we taste, explore our digestive tracts, and what our body does with the food we eat. Do you want to know why your body sweats or what would happen if you never cleaned the wax out of your ears? We will explore the inner workings of our bodies thoroughly during this camp!
Through movies, songs, and guest visits, the Safety Town program trains children to evaluate "safe" from "unsafe." Under the guidance of volunteer youth instructors and credentialed teachers, children practice and experience their lessons in Safety Town, a miniature city layout built to the scale of a small child.
Topics: Pedestrian, earthquake, fire, 9-1-1, bicycle, beach and pool, drugs, strangers, general play, along with personal and home safety.
Visits by police, firefighters, forest rangers, paramedics, water safety professionals, and more. One off-site field trip, (ride on city bus reserved for Safety Towners only)
Format: 17.5 hour course, (3.5 hours per day, M-F, for 1 week)
Fee includes a Safety Town T-shirt to be worn daily.
Scholarships are available during this session for those who qualify.

Beginning Spanish Class for students entering grades 2-5.
In this week-long class, students will learn basic commands, vocabulary words, and phrases through singing, playing games, and movement. Participation and practice will be encouraged in a safe, non-threatening environment. No previous Spanish skills required!

Taught by experienced fiber artists who have extensive teaching backgrounds, these classes will introduce fiber art techniques including: weaving, dying felting, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, basketry, and hand sewing.
Methods and styles from different cultures will be introduced.
