• Our Time 18 months-3 years - Milk & Cookies  Imagine the aroma of baking cookies, cupcakes, and cakes in the coziness of the kitchen. Get ready for a musical adventure as we sing, dance, and bake our way through the kitchen. Materials Include: CD's, Books, and Instrument.
• Imagine That 3-5 years - Toys I Make, Trips I Take  What's more exciting to a child than a new toy? How about an entire Toy Shop full of toys! While some events may start in the toy shop, they may end on a tropical island. That's because you may find yourself sailing off in that toy boat to a faraway land. Materials Include: CD's, Books, and Instrument.
• Young Child Program 5-8 years - Children explore many areas of musical experience through singing, playing instruments, dancing, reading and writing music. This is a four semester program in which your child will learn to play the glockenspiel, dulcimer, and recorder preparing them for further music instruction.
• YB Children's Choir 4-8 years - Get ready to put those little voices to use as we sing songs we've all come to love. The only requirement is that you love to sing!
• Private Piano, Guitar, Violin, Flute, and Voice Lessons. Ages 4-up, Adults this is for you too!
• Family Time Class - A musical class offered for the whole family. Parents, this is a great way to bring younger and older siblings to class together! Sibling Discount Applies!

Corot was the most absorbing, respected, and influential landscape painter in France in the generation before Impressionism. He was much beloved by his peers and collectors alike, and remains an important figure whose exploration of the light and poetry of the French and Italian landscape still resonates today.

The Santa Barbara Museum of Art is pleased to present more than a dozen paintings, plus several prints and drawings, representing the first exhibition devoted to the art of Jean-Baptists-Camille Corot (1796-1875) in California, and the first in the United States since the major survey in 1996. Drawing from private and public collections, including the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, the J. Paul Getty Museum, and SBMA's own permanent collection, the presentation examines Corot's development as an artist, from his first views of Rome to his late, delicately-painted landscapes, both real and ideal.

Before developing into the leading painter of the Barbizon school of France in the mid-19th century, Corot originated from a moderately well-off family whose house in Anvers, about 20 miles southwest of Paris, remained his home for his entire career. Apprenticed to a fabric designer, Corot finally gained the courage to become a painter only at the age of 26, as he was shy and socially awkward all his life.

The Santa Barbara Museum of Art is a privately funded, not-for-profit institution that presents internationally recognized collections and exhibitions and a broad array of cultural and educational activities as well as travel opportunities around the world.

Eclectic, inventive, anti-conformist...these are just a few of the widespread characterizations of artists who have lived and worked in the richest, most diverse, and most populous region in the United States since the end of World War II. California Calling is a two-part exhibition highlighting works from a selection of artists and movements in California from the past fifty years. Drawn from the Museum's permanent collection and selected local collections, works included exemplify the distinctive vitality of art in the region and allude to the significance of the SBMA as a venue for art on the West Coast.
