Channel Islands Youth and Family Services (YMCA) operates the only youth crisis shelter in our area serving youth ages 10-17 who are in need of temporary housing while resolving a crisis situation in the family. We offer residential services, counseling, referrals and support needed with the ultimate goal of reunification with the family if appropriate. We also have a 24 hour crisis hotline 1-866-435-7833 or 1-866-HELP TEEN. We work with runaway, homeless, abused, at-risk, foster care youth and families who just need help getting through a difficult time with their teen
Cottage Health System is a not-for-profit community organization dedicated to providing medical excellence close to home. The system includes Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and its associated Cottage Children's Hospital and Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital, as well as Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital and Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital. Women's Services at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital include a Perinatal Center for high risk pregnancies, Labor & Delivery, and Mother/Infant Unit. Cottage Children's Hospital includes a dedicated Pediatrics Unit, a comprehensive Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit between L.A. and the Bay area.
