Coastline Christian Academy, located near the corner of Fairview and Cathedral Oaks in Goleta, is an interdenominational Christian school for Christian families. Using Christian-based curriculae, we emphasize academic excellence and behavioral excellence. We provide an affordable education while still maintaining small class sizes (average no more than 16 students to 1 teacher, and some classes as small as 8 or 9 students). Beginning Tuesday, September 7, 2010, Makai Day School will hold classes Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 2:30pm with focus on Literature, Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and the Sciences. Enrichment opportunities, such as instruction in a foreign language, ecology, nutrition/cooking, and Art will be available Monday - Friday from 2:30pm - 3:30pm.

For more than 40 years, Montessori Center School (MCS) has provided students aged 18 months through 12 years with creative and compelling education in a supportive, nurturing environment. MCS is a dynamic community of over 300 children and approximately 50 faculty and staff. MCS implements the internationally renowned Montessori Method of teaching and works to ensure that the school flourishes for today's children and for generations to come.
MCS is independently operated but affiliated with the American Montessori Society and licensed by the Department of Social Services. San Roque Preschool is a play-based program where children have the chance to pursue their natural curiosity with great freedom. Our warm, nurturing environment offers an exceptionally high ratio of teachers to students. Our small class consists of up to 20 students each school year, which runs from September to June. Ages 3-5. Children may attend 2, 3, or 5 days a week.

The Santa Barbara Area Council of PTAs acts as a conduit between schools, District and State levels of the PTA. We represent 31 schools in four school districts: Goleta Union, Hope, Montecito, and Santa Barbara. We advocate for all childrens Education,Parent Involvement,Community and Health & Safety.
Santa Barbara Charter School is part of SB School District. Kindergarten program offers extended day Kindergarten from 8:30AM - 1:30PM (with one shorter day). Afterschool care is available on campus until 5:00PM. This is a parent involved program. Parents volunteer at least 4 hours per week with the schools various on-going programs/projects.
Santa Barbara Christian School is a non-denominational Christian School for grades K - 8. The school is fully accredited by the Association of Christian School International (ACSI) and the Western Association of School and Colleges (WASC). For further information call the office.
Santa Barbara Academy -a year-round Core Knowledge school that begins in July. It is a public school of choice in the Santa Barbara School District. The only school in the district that has an extended day Kindergarten. SB Academy features a full time PE specialist, Music Teacher and offers Spanish as a foreign language. SB Academy is also unique in that school uniforms are mandatory.
